AESTAMPS A LATTE: It's time to Sale-a-brate!

Hello, crafty friends. We stepped out of Minnesota this past week on a whim to explore South Dakota's Black Hills and Badlands before our youngest heads back to college. Since I have beautiful trees and mountain scenery on my mind, I decided to create a project using the Beauty of Friendship Bundle.

My project also showcases the awesome Gold 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon from the July - December 2021 Mini Catalog. This beautiful ribbon is my Host Code PERKS gift when you place a $50 order with me in the month of August.

This ribbon is fantastic for Christmas projects, but can be used for any occasion. For fun and to really make my project pop with gold, I also added some Gilded Leafing to my tree.

To start my project, I sponged Merry Merlot, Cinnamon Cider and Misty Moonlight ink onto the tree image before stamping it onto a piece of Basic White cardstock. Next, I added Gilded Leafing over the top of top of the tree after it was die cut out.

To create my layered panel, I die cut a woodgrain patterned piece of Beauty of the Earth DSP using the Stitched Rectangle Dies followed by adding a stitched leaf pattern using the Stitched Greenery Die.

This die cut DSP layer was matted onto a Merry Merlot cardstock layer followed by another Beauty of the Earth DSP layer and finally onto a Basic White card base.

The Gilded Leafing and the Gold 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon look more sparkly in person then these photos show.

However, these 2 photos do a pretty good job showing the pop of gold. :)
