AESTAMPS A LATTE: In Good Taste Sunflower

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am sharing a birthday card I made using leftover piece from the video I made to accompany my Celebrate Sunflowers PDF Card Class. There are SO many different ways to add layers to the beautiful Sunflower Dies and this creation shows you another example.

In my accompanying Celebrate Sunflowers video, I demonstrated how I colored one of the projects in the class, but I also changed it up a bit and colored with my Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends. As a result, this is one of the cards I made with leftover die cut pieces.

I love earth tone colors and for this card all I did was flip the In Good Taste DSP over from my last creation (see my previous post) and used the wood plank side.

I made three layers for this flower: A Sahara Sand die cut piece for the bottom; a stamped and colored flower piece in the middle followed by a Sahara Sand die cut top piece. I love the results!!

I also used the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder which is a wonderful addition to create a subtle texture to your cardstock layer.
