Hello, crafty friends. Today, I have a super fun card to share with you using the Home to Roost Sale-a-bration stamp set.

Can I just say that this rooster was so much fun to color and especially with my Stampin' Blends!?  I used a variety of colors: Poppy Parade, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Balmy Blue and Bermuda Bay.  I created the sky using a sponge with the following inks: Balmy Blue, Grapefruit Grove and Pumpkin Pie.

I matted my completed scene onto a piece of Night of Navy cardstock that I literally had mashed up and teared followed by distressing the edges using my finger nails.  This was then matted onto a Crumb Cake cardstock layer which was embossed with the Pinewood Plank Embossing Folder (LOVE).  And just for fun ~I added a die cut leaf strip from the Wonderful Floral Framelits which is one of my favorite bundles from the 2019 Occasions Catalog.
