Country Birdhouse and Free Shipping on Tuesday!

Hello crafty friends! Yes, I know it's been a little while since I have shared any crafty creations with you but I am here today with a creation using the new Country Birdhouse Bundle.  It is a part of the Country Woods Suite which I absolutely LOVE.  I have been dying to get my hands on this particular bundle, and now that my kitchen, bathroom and entry way remodel is 99% finished, I now am able to head to my stamping room undisturbed. Yah!

Today's birdhouse card focuses on the 2024-2026 In Colors and is paired with the Country Woods 12" x 12" DSP.  You can create so many variations of the birdhouse with this paper and this is one of the 3 different variations I made using either the front or back side of a single sheet of the Country Woods 12" x 12" DSP.

For this creation I am sharing how you can stamp the birdhouse and color it with your favorite media.  This birdhouse was stamped onto Basic White cardstock using Memento Black ink and colored with Pretty in Pink Stampin' Blends.  Next, I added DSP die cut pieces to the top and bottom of the birdhouse using the Country Woods 12" x 12" DSP followed by a Basic White cardstock die cut scalloped awning. Note: the birdhouse circle opening also uses the Country Woods DSP.

Next, I die cut a bunch of flowers using Lemon Lolly, Pretty in Pink and Peach Pie cardstock and leaves using Shy Shamrock cardstock.  After I was happy with the arrangement of my flowers around my birdhouse, I adhered them using glue dots.  The birdhouse was then adhered to a 4 1/4" x 3 7/8" piece of Pretty in Pink DSP from the 2024-2026 In Color 6" x 6" DSP Assortment using Dimensionals.
To finish off my card front layer, I added a 1" x 3 7/8" piece of Pretty in Pink cardstock to the bottom before adhering all to a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock.

I also added a piece of 3/8" Pretty in Pink Bordered Ribbon before adhering it to my Pretty in Pink card base.
Lastly, I added a Smoky Slate and Peach Pie colored bird and a few pink sequins.  I will share the other versions I made using one single sheet of Country Woods DSP with you in a future post. :)

Impressions a Bloom for Sunday Stamps!

Happy Sunday!  Right now I am knee deep in making decorations for my daughter's upcoming baby shower next weekend and the theme is Winnie the Pooh! lol :)  I am going to be a grandma for the first time and all I can say is that I am really is exciting! I forced myself to clear off my stamping table (well actually just push stuff away) and created a floral card for this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps!  The Impressions  a Bloom Bundle is one of my newest favorite sets and I really have not had time to create with all of the very many different ways you can with this set.  Here's my 2nd go. Soft pastel colors? Count me in!  And these petals exemplify the softness you can achieve with the Impressions a Bloom .  For these flowers, I stamped 2 in Peach Pie ink followed by Timid Tiger ink. The 3rd flower was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink. I first stamped off onto scratch paper and then used full strength for the detailed/outline stamp. Next, I d...

Perfectly Pears for Sunday Stamps!

It's Sunday and today starts another new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yahoo!  I love card challenges because it makes you think outside the box and at the same time gives you something to create with whether it be a color challenge or a sketch challenge.   For this weeks creation, I focused on the new Online Exclusive Bundle called Perfectly Pears .  This bundle is part of a suite and the products in the suite are gorgeous.  For this particular creation, I focused on the adorable set of pears and a few of the coordinating dies. I stamped the outline set of pears image using Pecan Pie ink and then stamped the solid part of the pear image using Darling Duckling ink which also had some Timid Tiger ink sponged onto it as well. I then took my Darling Duckling and my Timid Tiger Stampin' Blends and outlined some of the edges of the pears to add more depth to each Pear. Next, I colored the leaves and stem using Old Olive, Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends...
