AESTAMPS A LATTE: January Paper Pumkin

Hello, crafty friends and Happy Valentines Day! I hope you are having a "lovey" day and that you have completed and sent all of your crafty Valentine creations to your loved ones. :) Today, I am sharing an alternative Valentine creation I made using the Kisses & Hugs Paper Pumpkin.

Although the kit's cards are super cute just the way they are, I love that I can embellish them a little more with my own stamping supplies.

For this card, I cut off one of the trifold vanilla hearts and then trimmed it a bit to be used and fit on a standard sized card. Here is what the January Paper Pumpkin kit pieces look like:

I added the heart to a piece of Granite Gray cardstock that was embossed with the Gingham Embossing Folder followed by a Flirty Flamingo cardstock layer and then finally onto a Very Vanilla card base.

I cut one of Gray Granite arrows from the kit in half and adhered it behind one the Flirty Flamingo kit hearts.

Next, I add some a sentiment embossed in gold and die cut using one of my all time favorite sets: the Always in my Heart stamp set and coordinating Floral Heart Dies.

I been having so much fun with the new Bough Punch that I added some Gold Foil Paper leaves, and some Flirty Flamingo and Very Vanilla flowers to my card as well.

And lastly, I added some of the sequins from the kit itself to finish off my Valentine card. Don't you just love the kits gold embossed matching envelopes?!

I am also sharing the another Valentine creation I made using the remaining 2 hearts from the trifold cards in the kit. Again, I embellished it with the Always in my Heart stamp set and coordinating Floral Heart Dies.

I love this kit and its colors. So pretty and elegant.
