AESTAMPS A LATTE: Frightfully Cute for Halloween

Hello, crafty friends. I will be sharing a few of the cards I made over the weekend for my niece and nephews for Halloween this year. This cute card is for my husbands niece's daughter Zarina. She is 3 years old and is frightfully cute if I do say so myself. lol :)

I used the Frightfully Cute Bundle with the Cute Halloween DSP. Seven of Cute Halloween DSP patterns contain black and white images that can be colored or sponged with ink. For this card, I blended in Pumpkin Pie and Highland Heather ink randomly onto to it using the Blending Brushes. So fun!

I layered my blended DSP onto a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock with a Basic Black piece that was embossed with the Hammered Metal 3D and a small Pumpkin Pie cardstock piece that was die cut with a border die from the Peony Dies.

Next, I added a hand cut ghost from the Cute Halloween DSP and with a sparkly witches hat using Black Glimmer Paper. To wrap it up (pun intended lol), I added some Black & White 1/4" Gingham Ribbon at the DSP/cardstock line.

This card is slightly smaller than a regular A2 card. The final dimension is:3 7/8" x 5 1/4". I love to make altered Halloween cards and treat holders. Zarina is not getting candy or money with her card. Instead she is getting a coloring book (with stickers- yah!) and a pumpkin necklace that lights up. :)
