Happy Friday, crafty friends! Today, I am revisiting the retired Ornate Style stamp set. I colored this stamped image a long while back but never found the time to finish it until now. Although this set is retired now, its still worth sharing, right? :)

At the time I colored this floral image, the So Saffron Stampin' Blends had just became a new addition to my Stampin' Blend collection. My color choices remind me of how my mom decorated back in the early "70's". Now, I'm not saying I'm old, but I am older nowadays! lol Anyone else remember these colors back in the 70's at your home besides me?

For fun, I colored the leaves using So Saffron with the Light Old Olive Stampin' Blends trying to achieve a water wash look. It's so fun to experiment!

I used the matching Ornate Layers Dies, and thank goodness these dies carried over because I love them and use them quite often.
