AESTAMPS A LATTE: Painted Poppies

Happy Monday! We moved our oldest into his own apartment over the weekend, and now I am back down to one kiddo at home. This could change at any minute if my daughter decides to seek her Masters Degree. lol

Today, I have a thank you card to share using the Painted Poppies Bundle.

I had fun experimenting with the Painted Poppies stamp set by stamping the "blotch" image in different colors onto the stamped flowers before die cutting them out. One flower is stamped in Calypso Coral and Real Red, and the other flower is stamped in Lovely Lipstick and Real Red. Pretty cool, right?

Since I have From My Heart Suite products scattered all over my stamp table, I thought it would be fun to add a sentiment to the backside of the Flirty Flamingo and Real Read Heart Doilies. I could have "blotched" my leaves too, but I didn't think of that at the time, so I instead colored them with Mossy Meadow and Old Olive Stampin' Blends. I will have to try that on my next thank you card!

All of this was paired with the gorgeous Peaceful Poppies DSP, and finished off with some Peaceful Poppies Sequins.
