Playful Penguins...

Hello, and Happy Friday! Today,  I am sharing a card creation using the Playful Penguins stamp set found on page 23 of the Holiday Catalog.  These Penguins are just WAY too cute!

To create my background, I stamped the pine tree image from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set (love) and created a forest of pine trees using Shaded Spruce ink and then going back over the tree area with Balmy Blue ink and a sponge.  Next, I took and old tooth brush and splattered water onto it and then heat set it with my Heat Tool to create a snow storm.  Try it- its so fun! :)

I also added an additional Whisper White layer to the bottom of my card that was embellished with the Snowfall Accents Puff paint.  

Finally, I stamped and embossed a Perfectly Plaid sentiment in White Stampin' Emboss Powder and then added the Playful Penguins using Dimensionals.
