Wrapped in Plaid

Hello, crafty friends. I am excited to share my first Christmas card using the Wrapped in Plaid Suite found on page 12 of the Holiday Catalog.
I just love this plaid tree!  And the coordinating Wrapped in Plaid DSP is to die for! Each of the 48 sheets in the pack has one side that has gold embossing on it!  Yah!

My trees where stamped in Shaded Spruce and Night of Navy ink and punch out using the Pine Tree Punch.  The trees were layered onto a Whisper White die cut circle followed by a Gold Foil Stitched Shapes Die cut circle.
To highlight the gold in the DSP, I embossed the sentiment and added a Gold Foil leaf using the Leaf Punch.

And aren't those pine cones just so cute??? There are 2 different pine cones in the stamp set, and this particular one is a two step stamp.  It was easy to get perfect placement because this is a photopolymer stamp set.
And to finish off my Christmas card, I added 5 Gold Metallic Pearls to my Shaded Spruce Tree.
