Sunday Stamps! #193

Happy Sunday, crafty friends! Today, I have a "sweet" Christmas card as in "peppermint sweet" to share with you -thanks to the Candy Cane Season stamp set and match Candy Cane Builder punch.

The colors for my card were inspired by this weeks new challenge at Sunday Stamps! Aren't these perfect colors (with a little hipness) for Christmas crafting?

For this weeks color challenge, I used Tranquil Tide, Early Espresso, Merry Merlot, Sweet Sugarplum and Sahara Sand.  You can use any colors that you have at home that are similar to the above picture.  To play along, submit your color inspired creation to the Sunday Stamps! blog by Friday, December 14, 2018. 

What I realized while making this card is that I should have also gotten a pack (or 2) of the Wood Textures DPS.  For some strange reason I am treating it like it is the most valued DSP I have.  Do you ever do that with your stash?  I can honestly tell you- we need to use our pretty stuff to make pretty stuff because there will be more pretty stuff we will want to get. :0
