Poppy Parade Poinsettia's

Hello, crafty friends. Today, I am sharing a Christmas card creation I made using the Peaceful Poinsettia stamp set.
This is my first go with this beautiful set.  I wanted to share with you the color Poppy Parade and how beautiful it really is.  You can say it's a red, but it's not a deep red.  I would say it's more of an orange red and a perfect color for these gold embossed poinsettia's.

During the month of October, you can earn a FREE set of the Light and Dark Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends as my thank you gift for an online order of $50 using my October Host Code: 96A4JWXX.  Complete details are HERE.
I stamped the poinsettia image in the upper center of my card and then added some holly and berries to the sides and an additional one along the left side.  Next I embossed quite a few poinsettia's using gold embossing powder and then colored them with my Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends and then cut them to create a layered look.  The leaves where colored with the Light Shaded Spruce Stampin' Blend, and the centers of the flowers where colored with a Dark Mango Melody Stampin' Blend.

Here is a better picture of my layers.  There was no sun when I took my pictures, but believe me it is festive and sparkly in person. :)
