The Medallion stamp

Yesterday I had a little time to stamp. I needed some thank you cards and decided to try out a new stamp set. I think everyone has or at least will be getting this beautiful stamp, don't you think?
It was so easy to whip up this card....so I made 4 more using all the new IN COLORS:
Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay and Dusty Durango (see photo below). The brown is the yummy Soft Suede. I distressed the cards and used the Linen stamp (retired) to stamp over the entire image. The medallion was inked up and the ends and center where wiped off with a paper towel. Soft suede was sponged daubered into the wiped off areas.
Have a great day! Annette

little Brandon

I have a new camera...and I apparently do not know how to set it up correctly...because a lot of my pictures of my weekend away did NOT turn out. How disappointing!

Anyways, here is my cute little nephew Brandon. I haven't posted any new cards because I have been busy making a scrap book for him. I was very happy with how it turned out. It was an 8 x 8 book with 26 pages in it. It was a month by month picture book. I used soooo many on my stamps! It was a complete disaster in my stamping area when it was all said and done. Unfortunately I did NOT get to take any pictures of the pages as I barely got it finished before we left on Thursday afternoon. Bummer, huh?

It was so wonderful to see all of my family. I do not get to see them very much as we are all spread around the U.S.A. Congratulations to my brother Justin, and his beautiful wife; Melody- this one is a keeper!!!!

Playful Petals

Here's one of the cards I made while we were at our cabin over the 4th of July. This set is on the dormant list- sadly. I used all new In Colors to complete this fun card. I made a few of these cards. I love the new In Colors...they are so rich and cheery.

Recipe: Playful Petals and All Holidays stamp sets, Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo, Soft Suede and Pretty in Pink card stock, Razzleberry Lemonade DS paper, Soft Suede and Melon Mambo ink, Rich Regals brads, white gel pen and Crushed Curry polka dot grosgrain ribbon.

As for new stamp sets....I will be switching gears temporarily to work on my new nephew's scrapbook. We are driving to Kansas City next weekend to see him and the rest of my family. I am so excited and happy for my brother, Justin and his wife, Melody. Can't wait to get my hands on little Brandon!!!! Have a great day! Annette
