Sprinkles of Life in Autumn

Hello, crafty friends.  Today, I am sharing one of the cards we made last Saturday at my Sprinkles of Life stamp class.  Stampers brought their Sprinkles of  Life stamp set and matching Tree Builder punch to class.  They made 4 cards and recived a 5th additional premade card.  Each card was separately themed, and we used most all of the images in the stamp set.  Stampers went home with a cupcake birthday gift card, a thinking of you clouds card, a "thanks a bunch" basket of flowers, a summer tree/flower scene birthday card, and this Autumn/Thanksgiving card.

Sprinkles of Life is one of my top stamp sets from the annual catalog.  Such a fun, and easy stamp set to work with that allows you to create an assortment of cards and projects with a matching punch! How awesome is that?!  Love it!

And the excitment continues with the Holiday Catalog going live tomorrow! Yippee!  See you tomorrow with a Holiday Catalog share!  Till then, happy stamping!

Holiday Catalog preview: Death by Chocolate!

Hello, crafty friends. Today I am sharing a halloween treat bag I made using items from the annual catalog as well as the NEW and upcoming Holiday Catalog.
First, I created a bag using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits which can be found in the annual catalog on page 171.  It is one of my favorite thinlit sets.

To create the bag, I cut 2 "fronts" using Pumpkin Pie cardstock.  I then cut the zig zag top off each "side" (after the score line), and then scored that side piece 1/2" from the end. Here is a picture of one of the "fronts" cut and scored for you to see.

I, then stamped the Watercolor Wash background stamp using Pumpkin Pie ink. Next, I stamped the spider web image from the Witches' Night stamp set around the edges of one side of the die cut pieces (you could do both) with my NEW Archival Basic Black ink pad.  I, then stamped the tombstone image from the Sweet Hauntings stamp set onto white cardstock and sponged in Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie ink randomly onto it. I then punched it out using the Note Tag punch and layered it onto a Lots of Labels Framelits (I cut the bottom off of the framelit).  I punched in holes and added ribbon to the top to close it.

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays to decorate with.  I have more projects to share, so don't forget to check back. Till then, happy stamping!

Sunday Stamps! # 108: Happy Halloween!

Hello, crafty friends!  It's Sunday, and you know what that means.....yes-sir-ee, it's time for a NEW challenge at Sunday Stamps!  This week we have a sketch for you to play along with.
Here's the challenge:

And here's what I decided to create:

I just had to play with my new Halloween stamp set called: Witches' Night.  I am a sucker for Halloween, so this made my list rather easily.  I love how the two main images from this set coordinate with the Lot of Labels Framelits Dies.  I love vintage halloween things, so this will fit perfectly on dispaly in my house. :)   I also used the NEW embossing folder called: Softly Falling.  I love the new 6 X 6 size of the embossing folders!  It may be hard to see if the photo, but I also added some Gold Glitz Dazzling Details to match the Gold Metallic Thread.  And as ususal, I add some sequins from both the Metallic and Brights Assortment

You can order this stamp set and new embossing folder from the Holiday Catalog starting on September 1, 2015!

Well, now that you have seen my creation for this weeks challenge, head back over to Sunday Stamps! and see what the other design team members have created, and then please join us! We would love for you to play along!

Happy Stamping!

Make and Take Project # 2

Hello, crafty friends.  Today, I am sharing another project stampers made at my New Catalog Make and Take class.  Attendees got to play with the awesome stamp set called Watercolor Wings along with the coordinating Bold Butterfly Framelits and Butterflies Thinlits Dies.
We used the new 2015-2017 In Colors: Mint Macaron, Watermelon Wonder and Tip Top Taupe, along with the 2015-2017 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack and a Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron or Tip Top Taupe In Color Blossom Accent for the center of the main butterfly.
These 3 colors are gorgeous together!  It is hard to see in my photo, but we also used a piece of 1" Dotted Lace Trim on the inside of the card.  It was an excellent project to show many of the new In Color goodies!

You are Remarkable

Hello, crafty friends! It's Sunday, and that means its time for another fun challenge at Sunday Stamps! Yippee! This week we are playing with a COLOR challenge.  Here's my card creation for Sunday Stamps! challenge #107:

And here's the inspirational photo for this week's challenge:

Such a pretty picture, don't you think?  As for me, I can never have too many flower stamps, and this beautiful flower comes from the SU stamp set called Remarkable You.  And it really is remarkable!

Here's what I did:
I stamped the beautiful flower image in Versamark and embossed them in white onto watercolor paper.  I then watercolored the flowers using Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral and Real Red ink refills with my Aqua Painter. The stems were painted with Pear Pizzazz ink.  The flowers were fussy cut out and layered onto a circle shaped die cut piece of Vellum cardstock.  And as you can see, I once again used the beautiful embossing folder called Elegant Dots on my main panel. I love that embossing folder!

Here are the supplies I used:

I hope you enjoyed my card, AND I hope you head over to Sunday Stamps! and see what the other design team members have created.  We would love for you to join us!  Happy Stamping!

Make and Take Project # 1

Hello, crafty friends! Last weekend I had my New Catalog Make and Take class and I thought I would share a few of the projects we made.  Here is project No. 1:

This birthday gift set uses the famous and awesome and must have Ronald McDonald stamp set called Sprinkles of Life and matching Tree Builder punch.   We made a medium gift bag with an 11" x  7" piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock using the new Gift Bag punch board and a matching 3 x 3 card and envelope using the Envelope punch board.  There are many, many things I love about this project, but ideally I like it because the cute little card fits inside the bag, so its perfect for delivery!  How about that washi tape?  It's awesome for adding a pop of color and makes this project quick and easy to put together.
