Hello, crafty friends! Here is a card I made following the sketch layout over at
Just Add Ink. I have never made a card with an angel, so decided I needed to give it a try. My color pallet came from the
Best Year Ever DSP from the Sale-a-bration catalog. Colors are: Soft Suede, Crushed Curry and Coastal Cabana. Don't these colors look awesome together?! And notice the "HB"? after stamping the image with Soft Suede ink, I colored it with my Coastal Cabana Blendabilities. Notice that the ink didn't smear? Yep, you can use several Stampin' UP! inks as your base instead of Memento Black ink. Below is a list provided by Stampin' UP! indicating which ink pads work with Blendabilities. Look at all the ink pads you can use----29 to be exact!
Here's the list:
Always Artichoke, Baked Brown Sugar, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Crips Cantaloupe, Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Hello Honey, Marina Mist, Melon Mambo, Lost Lagoon, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Pink Pirouette, Pistachio Pudding, Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, Sahara Sand, Smoky Slate, So Saffron, Soft Sky Tangelo Twist, Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise, Wild Wasabi, Wisteria Wonder.
Here's Just Add Ink's sketch I followed:
And here are the products I used to make this card:
Thanks for stopping by! Happy Stamping!
LOVE this, Annette! The colours look delightfully "hippyish" to me; perhaps it's the inclusion of the flowers that fuels that thought. Great, happy card. Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week. :)
ReplyDeleteI like how you have the strip of C.curry to break up the C.Cabana. Both strong colours that look great together. Lovely. Thank you also for the list of inks that can be used with the Blendabilities.....very useful. Chantell. JAI
