SSC82: Ghoulish Greetings!

Hello, stamping friends! I am getting ready for my Make and Take class, but couldn't resist squeezing in a little stamping with my NEW Stampin' UP! goodies from the Holiday catalog.  You can order from it starting on 8-28-14.  I decided to follow the sketch challenge at Sunday Stamps.  Here is the challenge:

And here's what I made using the Fall Fest stamp set and matching Fun Fall Framelits:

Colors are: Tangerine Tango, Basic Gray, Basic Black, More Mustard and Very Vanilla. The DSP paper is Houndstooth & Scaringbone which is retired.  Aren't they cute? Love stamp sets with matching framelits!

Happy stamping!  Annette

Give Thanks: FMS#149

Hello!  I am playing with Freshly Made Sketches again using my new goodies from the Holiday catty. Yippee!  Here's the sketch challenge by Rita:
I have to be honest...I did struggle with the side banners part of the sketch. Nothing I tried looked good enough to me. Finally I settled with Lost Lagoon cardstock.  Oh, and I have to say that I am loving the Gold Buttons from the Holiday catalog which matches the Gold Bakers Twine perfectly! Gold is so festive for Fall projects. Love it!  Here's my card:

I used Stampin' UP!s Kraft Cardstock as my base. It's awesome!  I love the feel of it. Nice and thick, but not too thick.: ) I stamped the watermark image from the new For All Things stamp set and then die cut out the leaves from the Fun Fall Framelits. Have you gotten your Holiday Catalog yet?  Ordering from it begins August 28, 2014.  If you need one, just let me know and I will send you one. : )
Supplies used are:

I also used Hello Honey Stitched Satin Ribbon.  Happy Stamping!  Annette

FMS#148 and PP#208: Never too Happy

Hello! I just had one of the most fabulous weekends EVER!  I got to spend time with my sweet sister and my adorable niece AND I also got to see the Goo Goo Dolls! It was an amazing weekend!

Okay, onto my post for today.  This morning I scanned a few challenges and decided to play in two:  the Freshly Made Sketches challenge and Paper Players color challenge.  Here are their challenges:

And here's my card.  The only thing I did differently, was to flip the sketch on its side.
It was so much fun to make!  I used my Blendabilities in Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Smokey Slate and the Blush color from the Skin Tone Assortment.
Here is a list of the supplies I used to make this card:

Don't these colors look great together? So glad I played along with these challenges!  Have a great day!

SSC81:Happy Cake Day!

Hello, stampers!
Today, I am sharing a card I made following Sunday Stamps! challenge blog.  I love card challenges because some days I am just overloaded with too many ideas going on in my head, and challenges "help" me sort thru and force me to pick something! : )
Today, I wanted to make a birthday card for a special someone and decided that I would  use my new Age Awareness stamp set.  I have already made a birthday card with this set using the large "happy birthday", so today it was time to use some of the other fun birthday phrases.  Here's what I came up with using the challenge colors of: Strawberry Slush, Pink Pirouette and Very Vanilla:

August Make and Take card:

Hello, stampers!
Today, I am sharing one of the cards stampers will be making at my August Make and  Take class.  It showcases the awesome hostess set called: Bloom with Hope with two of the new In Colors:  Lost Lagoon and Hello Honey.

The Flowers were "watercolored" using the lightest Coastal Cabana Blendability as well as the Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Blendabilities. I also added Lost Lagoon ink with my aqua painter to darken the petals to match.  Because this set has a "sketch type appearance", it was easy to quickly add the colors and not worry about blending them together. : ) Two additional flowers were stamped and colored separately and popped on with Dimensionals.  To finish the flowers off, Dazzling Details were added to each flower center.

I bought a bunch of different colored sequins recently, and decided to add some after the fact.  I separated each color and tried them out.  And you know what? It actually looks pretty darn cool with all the different colors each person will get, and then everyone will know which card is there own.   :)
Stampers will be making four different birthday cards.  For more information, you can click HERE
