Nuts About You...again

Hello! Here I am again with another card creation using the Nuts About You Hostess stamp set.  After making several female cards with this set, I thought it was time to make a masculine card.  Besides, I haven't used the cute little squirrels yet.  So here it is.
A pretty simple card to make, but I did have to use my stampa-ma-jig for perfect placement of the squirrels.  A fun part of making the card was sponging in the clouds and grass.   I love sponge daubers. :)
And don't you just love that Chevron ribbon?  I thought it gave my card the perfect touch.  This ribbon is so easy to cut. I love that its not too thick, plus the its plain (natural) on the reverse side. Very versatile ribbon!

Flowerpot DSP card

Hello! Today I am showing you another card I created with another new Hostess set called: Hello There. This show cases the Stampin' UP! designer series paper promotion of Buy 3, Get 1 FREE (click on the SU promotion page above for more details).  I must confess that I really, really like our hostess sets in this years catalog.  The font attracted me to this set, and for $9 its a screamin deal!  Here's my card:
Isn't this pretty?  I just love how bold and cheery and flowery it is!  I embossed the circle image in White embossing powder and punched it out using the Blossom punch.  I stamped the "for you" in Night of Navy and punched  it out using the 1 3/8" circle punch.   Add a few leaves and there you have it!
And here's what the inside looks like.

Here are the current catalog supplies I used to make this card:
Well, I hope everyone has a great Wednesday and gets to stamp! :)  See you tomorrow!

Hostess Set: Birthday tree

Hello! Today I would like to share another birthday card I made using Stampin' UP!'s Designer Series Paper special of Buy 3, Get 1 FREE using Confetti Celebration.  This paper is very hip and trendy.  For this card, I used Strawberry Slush and Bermuda Bay as my theme colors.  Here it is:
As you may recall, I cut apart the leaves from the tree so that it would be more versatile for me.  This is a hostess set called Nuts About You, and I know that I will be making different themed cards with this set as the year goes by.  But for right now, flowers in the tree look darn cute, don't they?
I colored Basic Rhinestones with my Pumpkin Pie Blendabilities.  The grass was stamped with Pistachio Pudding classic ink. The "happy birthday" is from the Something to Say stamp set stamped in Versamark and embossed with White embossing powder.  Of course, Bermuda Bay Bakers Twine looks yummy on it!

Here are a list of the products I used to make this card:

A Fishy Birthday Card

Hello! I know its been a little bit since I have posted anything, but it is so hard to find time to stamp in the summer. However, I did finally sit down and stamp yesterday, and a little bit this afternoon.  So today I do have something "fishy" to share. : ) I made this for my cute little nephew who turns the big three next weekend.  Here it is:

I used the Maritime DSP which is part of Stampin' UP!'s designer series paper special.  Buy 3, get 1 FREE till the end of July! Hoot-hoot!

The colors are: Real Red, Night of Navy and Coastal Cabana.  The Maritime DSP inspired me to crack out one of my favorite retired stamp sets called: Fishy Friends.  I just love this stamp set.  The images are so cute. To create the water the fishy is swimming in, I cut a piece of Vellum card stock using the Large Scallop Edgelit and then sponged Coastal Cabana ink on it. So much fun to make! Here are the supplies I used to make this card:
Head on back to my blog on Monday, and I will show you another cute card I made using the Confetti Celebration DSP. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend!   Annette
