Today, I made a Christmas card following the sketch layout over at Sunday Stamps! challenge blog. Here's the sketch challenge:
And here's my card. Colors are: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Whisper White with a splash of Gold.
Oh, how I love to stamp holiday themed cards! So much fun! I have only made a few so far, and I feel like I am already behind! UG! I used LOTS of new goodies from the Stampin' UP! Holiday catalog to create this fun card. :)
I stamped the "Merry Christmas" in Versamark onto Vellum cardstock and embossed it with Gold embossing powder. I then stamped the smallest snowflake from the Endless Wishes stamp set with my White craft pad (so I could see where I was stamping) and then embossed them with White embossing powder. I stamped all 3 sized snowflakes in Early Espresso and Crumb Cake on a white piece of card stock which is glued to the Vellum piece of card stock. The white and gold snowflakes where made using the Snowflake card Thinlits Die . The DSP in the background is from the Trim the Tree Designer Series paper stack, and the hanging banner is made from the Naturals Chevron ribbon.
Here is a close up for you to see.
I think I will head back to my stamping table and make another one of these using the other left over triangle pieces of DSP. :) Thanks for stopping by! Have a great stamping day!
