Sneak Peak goodies

Good afternoon, stampers! I have to confess that I was supposed to wrap presents today, but I really did not have the desire to get it done.  I touched my new goodies as I cleaned up my stamping area a few days ago, and while strolling by with the laundry this afternoon...I decided that it would OK for me to make just one card, and wrap presents later. :  )   Here's what I came up with:
I used the new paper called "More Amore" Specialty DS paper, which will be available starting January 3, 2013.  The colors for this card are: Pool Party, Primrose Petals, Basic Gray and Very Vanilla.  Love the new paper!  It will make awesome Valentine and Wedding cards. : )
Recipe:
Hearts a Flutter stamp set (new!) and matching Hearts a Flutter Framelits (new!), Wacky Wishes (hostess stamp set), Paper Doily Sizzlits, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Primrose Petals ink, Pool Party ink, Very Vanilla craft pad, Very Vanilla embossing powder, Pool Party embossing powder (new!), Primrose Petals Stitched Satin Ribbon (cut in half), Itty Bitty Shapes punch, Scallop Edge punch, Basic Pearls and Sponge daubers, and paper piercing tool.

I must say, I feel much better.  Glad I waited to warp presents till later!   Happy stamping! : )

Christmas slider card

Here is another project made by my club ladies.  It is a slide out card that you can use as a gift card as well.
Lots of fun goodies used to make this.  First we used the Snow Festival Designer Series Paper for our color combination of Cherry Cobbler, Baja Breeze and Gumball Green.
We stamped the ornament in Gumball Green onto Gumball Green card stock and die cut it.  We paper pieced it using the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack and added a Silver Glimmer and Baja Breeze snowflake from the Snow Flurry Die (a must have).  This was topped off with a star (retired punch) and a Glimmer brad.
The Greetings of the Season phrase was stamped in  Cherry Cobbler and then Die cut out using the Apothecary Accent Framelits dies, and these were also pierced with the Essentials Paper-Piercing pack.
You pull the card out to the left and another ornament awaits you.  Although this pictures does not show it, a gift card or cash can be placed into the corner of the ornament very nicely. : )
I think it turned out very nicely, and is very sparkly in person.  What do you think?  I bet you are thinking that you need the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and matching dies, right????
Have a great weekend!!!!!  Happy Christmas!!!

One of my favoirte Christmas cards

This is one of my favorite Christmas cards I made this year.  Everything is embossed.  The ornaments are embossed with Early Espresso craft ink and the Merry Christmas is embossed with Very Vanilla embossing powder.  I used the Lacy Brocade embossing folder on the Cherry Cobbler Core'dinations card stock as well as Festival of Prints Designer Series paper for my main theme.
The ornaments were popped out with dimesionals and sparkle with Silver and Red Glimmer paper using my Itty Bitty Shapes punches. Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding toppers finishes the ornament card.  I used my  Silver pen to make the ornaments "hang".  I love how rich this card looks in person.  A fancy card for the holidays!   What do you think?    Enjoy your Thursday!  Merry, holly, jolly Christmas!!!!

Merry Christmas Ornament

The weekend goal was achieved!  I made twenty cards to bring my total closer to the 90+ cards I make. Ya-who!  And my little guy's team took home the consolation trophy....so a pretty good weekend here in Minnesota. : )
Here's another Christmas share for you:
Lots of goodies used for this card. I embossed the ornament from Ornament Keepsakes in Very Vanilla embossing powder onto Real Red card stock.  This was then matted onto an Early Espresso piece of card stock that was cut using the Window Frames Die. It was also paper pierced with the Festive template.  I also added the "Merry  Christmas" center using the 1 1/4" scallop circle with the matching Mixed Melody Hostess stamp set.
All this was matted onto a piece of Lacy Brocade embossed Very Vanilla card stock.  Add some Basic Pearls, and walla...a Christmas keeper!  Love my paper piercing templates!!  It really makes hand made cards pop!.  Have a great day!  Annette
