EEEK! It's Halloween!

Happy  Halloween to all my friends, my family and my fellow stampers!  Here is my favorite card that I made this year for Halloween using the very cute Bat from the Googly Ghouls stamp set.  : )
The full moon was made first by punching a circle out of a sticky note, and then sponging More Mustard and Tangerine Tango ink in a circular motion into the punched out circle area.  Next, I placed the punched out circle piece over the moon and sponged Basic Black ink onto the card stock using a torn piece of paper to make the cloudy sky.
The moon was also made similarly but I sponged my White craft pad into the punched out circle area of the sticky note.
Have a great Halloween!  Hope you get lots of treats! (save your dark chocolate for me!).   Annette

Another Count down to Christmas share

This card was actually made from left over pieces I made for other projects but ended up not using.  A very simple card, but yet to me, elegant enough for mass producing.  Is there really only  eight more weeks till Christmas?  UG!  I have lots and lots of shopping to do yet. : )
Did I mention how much I LOVE the Snow Flurry Bigz Die?  Well, I do. It is awesome! Run a 1/2 sheet thru the Big Shot and walla, you have a perfect snow flake for the center piece of any card or scrap book page. : )
Recipe:
Stamps: Joyous Celebrations
Paper: Very  Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Festival of Prints DS paper, and Red Glimmer paper.
Ink: Versa Mark and Very Vanilla embossing powder (retired)
Accessories: Snow Flurry Die, Lacy Brocade embossing folder, Red Glimmer Brad, Very Vanilla Brads.

Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas count down

Everyone is sharing Christmas cards and/or projects for the 12 week countdown to Christmas and I thought I would add some projects as well.  How many weeks till Christmas???  About 10 weeks? Okay, so here is Christmas Countdown share number 10:
I actually made this card a long while back over Labor Day weekend while at our cabin.  I had limited supplies that I brought up and added the ribbon and brad after we were home.  In person it is very sparkly.  I used my Versa Mark pad and rubbed it onto the raised surface of the Very Vanilla card stock - which was embossed using the Holiday Frame folder.  I then applied Heat and Stick followed by Dazzling Diamonds glitter.
Lastly, I outlined the ornament image with Dazzling Details glitter.  The Window Frames Famelits Die was paper pierced using the Festive template which you can get for FREE when you take advantage of the October special as listed on top right hand side of my blog.  A very fun and easy card to make when you have all the right tools provided by Stampin' UP!
INGREDIENTS: Ornament Keepsakes Bundle (plus FREE Festive paper piercing pack) which includes: 1) Ornament Keepsakes stamp set, 2) Holiday Ornaments Framelits and 3) Candlelight Christmas Specialty DS paper.  Early Espresso, Lucky Limeade and Very Vanilla card stock, Early Espresso and Lucky Limeade ink, Holiday Frame embossing folder, Scallop Trim Border punch, Champagne Basic Glimmer Brad, Heat and Stick powder, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Dazzling Details glitter and paper piercing tool and mat.

See you next week with another Christmas Count Down share.  Till then, happy stamping!  Annette

Wicked Halloween

One of my favorite sets (besides Spooky Bingo Bits) is Stampin' UP!'s Wicked Cool stamp set.  I have made many fun, wicked and cool cards with this set - and here's another:

A bunch of fun stuff on this card:  I used the Chevron and Woodgrain embossing folders, Sweet Buttons embosslits,  mini brads to top off her boot laces, my Tangerine Tango marker to color her socks and a Linen Thread bow.  To make it really pop, I made a cool rosette circle using the Howlstooth and Scaringbone DS paper with the Scallop Trim Border punch on my Simply Scoring Tool.  To create this rosette I scored a 1.25" by 12" piece of DS every 1/4" and folded it accordion style.

Hope you all have a wicked and fun time getting ready for Halloween!  : )   Annette

Customer "thank you" cards

I made these cards for ladies who recently took advantage of the October special and placed orders with me.  I was anxious to use the Small Oval punch with the "thank you" image from the Perfectly Preserved stamp set as I have never used my Small Oval punch -as it is new to me. : )
I originally had planned to make 3 of the exact same card, but the thing  I love most about stamping is the "creating" part. : )  So, I guess I can say I made a "gift set" of thank you's, right?
All three canneries were made exactly the same for the mass producing I had planned to do, but that's were it ended. However,  I did decide that it would be fun to incorporate the Rose Red brads (retired SU) into each card as well as to have a similar texturing  technique for the base of the card.  Hence, the "thank you" gift set. : )  For the first card, I used the awesome Woodgrain embossing folder.
For each cannery, I sponged the jars with Raspberry Ripple ink...trying to make a jar of jelly. Not sure if I suceeded but I think it still turned out cute.  But for my last card, I decided to try something different. I ended up taking the cannery apart and randonmly stamped the cherries image from the Perfectly Preserved  stamp set to it and I made a jar of jam! : )  tee-hee. ( I do like jam better than jelly anyways).
I used the Framed Tulips embossing folder for the second card and the Houndstooth embossing folder for the third card.  Each were sponged with Very Vanilla ink.  Colors:  Early Espresso,  Lucky Limeade,  Island Indigo and Orchard Harvest Designer Series paper.
Have a great weekend!  Annette

Happy Christmas

Here's another card I made using the Christmas Wishes stamp set that I picked out as one of my Stampin' UP! rewards.  It's great to be a hostess and pick out FREE goodies! : )    .
I used the Fancy Fancy embossing folder to create the Gumball Green background as well as the Very Vanilla snow surrounding the trees.  I added some Silver Glimmer paper stars from the Holiday Collection framelits Dies to top off the trees, as well as my Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details for the edges of the snow.
Lastly, I added some Rhinestones to the center tree, and a Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine bow to finish it off.
What do you think? Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!  Ho-Ho-Ho! Annette

Here's a card that was made by stamp club ladies last month using the awesome Perfectly Preserved stamp set and matching Cannery Framelit Dies.
In making this card, we also got to use the Festive paper piercing mat for the Window Frames Framelits Die.  I love, love this pack as well as the Essentials paper piercing pack that can be found on page 181 of the 2012-2013 catalog. Paper piercing as never been so easy...and perfect!

Mojo Monday

Today I made time to play along with the Mojo Monday sketch.  The first day of each month is called the Mojo Madness CONTEST.  You have a chance to win a prize if your creation is picked...so why don't you play along!! : )

Here's what I came up with:
I used the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Mini Catalog for my color inspiration. I love the Snow Flurry Die.  I cut two large snow flakes and cut the stems near the top off of one snow flake before gluing them together.

To give it a little sparkle, I added some Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details to match the Silver Glimmer paper star.
Recipe:
Stamp sets: Joyous Celebrations and Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: Festival of Prints DS, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla card stock.
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Accessories: Snow Flurry Die, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details, 1 1/4" circle and 1 3/8" circle punches, Silver Glimmer paper and star from Holiday Collection Framelits.

Thanks for stopping by.  Lets see what you come up with!  Annette
