I'm Here for You

I made this card awhile back at our cabin over the July 4th week using the Serene Silhouettes stamp set.  It was fun to use the new Apothecary Accents Framelits Die with the matching Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack mat, too.
With limited supplies that I bring with me, it really is a simple card.  I thought that perhaps I would add more goodies to it when we got home, but after looking at it again when we arrived home, I decided it really didn't need any "bling" since its an "earthy" kinda sympathy card.
I used my markers to color the tree and stamped the main image and then continued to stamp along the card stock for depth.  I then used my Pumpkin Pie marker and colored randomly on the leaves of the tree and then stamped over the images.  I think it turned out great.  What do you think?  : )
Colors:  Early Espresso, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie.  Have a great day!   Annette

Reason To Smile No. 2

Here's another beautiful card using the $5 stamp set " Reason to Smile" that can be yours for FREE when you place a $50 order with me by July 31, 2012.  Just head over to my SHOP STAMPIN UP! and three cards using this set will be sent to you absolutely free!  : )

Wanna know what colors look fabulous together for 2-step stamping?  Baja Breeze and Midnight Muse, and Regal Rose and Primerose Petal.  Not to mention that these colors together on a card look awesome!

I hand cut the outer petals of the Midnight Muse flower and then punched out the center of another Midnight Muse flower using my 3/4" circle punch.  I then added Old Olive leaves from my Blossom Builder punch.  A very simple card to create with a lot of bright color!  : )    What do you think?   Annette

Scentsational Season

Hello, stampers!  Today I played along with the Wednesday splitcoast  sketch challenge SC394.  Here's the layout:
sc394_color_tbu-jpg   and here's what I came up with:

I just received my preorder of the Scentsational Season stamp set yesterday, so it was a given that I had to use it.  : )  It's hard to find time to stamp in the summer.  But there are always so many cool new things Stampin' UP! entices us with the release of the new catalog! UG!  Its HARD to not stamp even if you don't have the time!  Do you know what I mean?
Anyways, the colors are:  Real Red, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, River Rock and Very Vanilla with retired DS paper.

Below it  is a closer look of the "smoke" from the hot chocolate.  How fun and easy it is to make these babies with the matching framelite die!  After sponging them, I used my Dazzling Details to make them sparkle.  : )
Below is a close up of the new 7/8" Cotton Ribbon that is in the up coming Holiday Mini Catalog.  It's stampable!  I didn't stamp on it this time - but am looking forward to trying it out soon!  : )

Well, that's my card.  Hope you like it.  Thanks for stopping by!!!  Annette

Reason to Smile

Hello, stampers!
Today, I wanted to share a card I made using the "Reason to Smile" stamp set for the July Stampin' UP! special. If you place a $50 order during the month of July, you can purchase this beautiful 2 step stamp set for just $5!!!!  Woo-who! : )  To inspire you, I have made several examples that I will be sharing over the next several weeks.
Plus, here's my special: Want to have your own samples using this set??? I will send you 3 beautiful cards using this set if you place a qualifying order with me by July 31, 2012.

Purchasing number: 131274 for wood mount set;
                               131275 for clear mount set.

Here's my first card that can be yours with a qualifying purchase:

I used the new Floral District DS paper which then gave my all my colors to use. I embosed the Labels Collection frame with the Snow Burst folder (retired) because I thought it matched the DS paper so well.
I used the new Finishing Touches Edgelits Die in Daffodil Delight to make a pretty border on the bottom.

I stamped the larger flower (2-step stamping) in Baja Breeze and Daffodil Delight.  No stampa-ma-jig needed!!!
I hand cut out the small Rich Razzleberry flowers and popped them out with dimensionals.  And then to top it off, I added some paper piercing and 2 glimmer brads from the Subtles collection (retired).  It's such a soft and elegant card that I wasn't sure if it needed ribbon, but settled on a bow and adhered it with a glue dot.
What do you think?  Wouldn't you love for me to send you this card?  : )
