Another Tree

Okay, here is another Lovely as a Tree card... just slightly altered.  I put water directly onto my white card stock and stamped it in Always Artichoke ink.  I then let it dry and stamped over the "blurred" Always Artichoke image with Chocolate Chip ink.  I then sponged the sky and grass areas.  Distress it, sponge dauber the edges and wha-la...you have a woodsy card!

The second picture is of our little guy Zach playing catcher for his baseball team.  : )   Happy stamping!  Annette

Lovely as a Tree

This set has been in the Stampin' UP! catalog for sooo long (see page 84 of the catty)!  I would bet it has been available the longest of all the sets Stampin' UP! has offered over the years.  I CASED this card off of one of my own samples.  It is easy to whip up any kind of card with this set.  I made this for my brother, Justin who is turning "35" on Tuesday.  Happy Birthday, little bro!  Love ya!  Annette

Happy Father's Day

Here is a card I made for my husband for Fathers Day. I used the new Natural Composition designer paper, Finishing Touches Edgelits Die and Midnight Muse card stock.  Other ingredients are retired DS paper, ribbon and word stamp.  My dad's card had a similar layout, same colors but I used a retired horse set.  We have been busy with graduation parties on the weekends, Twins games and of course community ed sports for the kids during the day.  Not much time to stamp, but that is always the case in the summer.  We had a blast at my June Make and Take and I will be scheduling my July Make and Take soon. Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great week!  Annette

More graduation cards

Here a few more graduation cards I made.  Most of the graduation parties we are going to this year are for boys..however, we do have 3 girls graduating, so I made 3 of them with using black Rhinestones and added some sparkle...which you can't see in this picture.

I made the caps from scratch using the Perfect Pennants Die to get me started for the top part, and I used my wide oval punch and my 3/4" circle punch for the "hat" part.  Pretty easy actually.  Enjoy, and Happy Graduation to all the 2012 graduates out there!! Annette

Graduation Cards

Here are a few graduation cards I made using some retired - some not retired Stampin' UP! goodies.  I love the Stars Die.  It is very handy for cutting the thick glitter paper as opposed to using my punches.  I also love the Perfect Pennants Die.  I used it to create the "well done" ribbon.  Colors: Soft Sky (R), Bashful Blue (center) and Crumb Cake.  Thanks for stopping by, and hope you get to stamp a latte!
