Happy Birthday, Zachary!

My little guy turned double digits today....the big " 10"!  He is our youngest, and keeps us on our toes at all times. : )  He had five friends over to skate and then sleep over.  It took me all of Sunday to recover!!!! We are expecting a snow storm here tonight, and I am actually hoping for enough snow over night that the kids can stay home tomorrow.  Everybody (who lives in MN) needs at least one snow day off from school a year!  Here is the card I made him using mostly all retired SU ingredients except for the party hat- which comes from the Pennant Parade stamp set. Bordering on Romance version #2

Today I am sharing a quick post (no recipe) of  a "take off" of one the first cards I made using Twitterpated designer series paper and the Bordering on Romance stamp set.  Basically, I kept the same colors and style, but made it into a tent card.  Today we are off to Breezy Point, MN for our youngest son's hockey tournament.  Have a great weekend!  Annette

Happy 17th Birthday, Josh!

My son, Josh is SEVENTEEN years old today! OMGosh! I can't believe how time is flying by!  My son plays hockey and I have been making a lot of hockey cards for him over the years.  So for this year, I decided to try something new.  I knew I would still use my star stamps (I can't live without them for boy cards and sports), but this year I used the "dude catching air snowboarding". : )  It was fun to create.  I free handed the large star onto cardboard and went from there.
