Star Punch

Here's a graduation card I made using the retiring Star punch.  Don't forget that tomorrow is the last day to order RETIRING Stampin' UP! items. To me, the Star punch is a must have.  I use it every year to make graduation cards and also when I am scrapbooking my kids sports.

I kept the traditional graduate colors of black and silver and added one of the graduate's school colors: green.  I love to make money card holders.  They are so easy to make - and what better gift to give then cold, hard cash!!!  Just measure the size of the envelope you have on hand  and then reduce the card size by a 1/4 inch from the width and height and go from there!    Have a great Wednesday!   Annette

Clean and Simple BDay money card

I had leftover flower pieces that I had embossed with the Delicate Doilies stamp set when I had finished creating my daughter's Bday card.  This flower became the center piece for a Clean and Simple money holder Birthday card for future use.  I am soooo loving the Flirtation DSP (note: it is on BACKORDER and will not be available to order until after July 4th.)

Recipe:  Delicate Doilies and Curly Cute stamp sets, Pretty in Pink and Flirtation DSP, Tasteful Trim XL Die, Fun Flowers L Die, Crop-a-Dile, white craft pad and embossing powder, Sweet Buttons Die, pearl and retired Melon Mambo ribbon.  Have a great Tuesday.  It is absolutely beautiful here!!!!  Annette

My daughter turns fourteen!

My little girl is growing up fast...and is now fourteen.  We had a fun filled weekend with her having a sleepover with her best friend Friday night. Saturday night was a yummy dinner out on the town followed by  a campfire in our backyard with neighbors.  Sunday morning we cooked eggs and sausage on our fire pit just like the cow boys.  Maybe it has something to do with us recently watching True Grit? Hmmm.  Not sure, but it was fun!  Here is my beautiful daughter and the card I made for her using new catty items. :)

Notice that I used my Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch with the Delicate Doilies stamp set (center image of flower).
Recipe:
Stamps: Delicate Doilies and Afterthoughts.
Paper: Flirtatious DS paper, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, and Pretty in Pink card stock.
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, and Whisper White craft and embossing powder.
Accessories: Tasteful Trim XL Die, Fun Flowers L Die, Square Lattice folder, Sweet Buttons Embosslits, Go Go Boots Numbers Die, Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon, Decorative Label punch, Large Tag punch, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch, Extra Large Oval punch, White Twine,  pink rhinestones.

Enjoy and have a great Monday!  Annette

Postage Stamp Punch

I was playing with my NEW Postage Stamp punch one day and created this card just for the heck of it.  You can never have too many cards on hand, right???  I used retired DS paper, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede card stock.  I topped it off with Very Vanilla seam binding, and a Rose Red button.  The flower is from Thanks for Caring, and the Sentiment is from Three Little Words.  Happy Friday, TFSB!  Annette

Up, Up and Away

Here is the 3rd "Manly" Make and Take project my stamping friends made.  It was fun to punch out the clouds (Cupcake Builder punch), glue them down- and then run the cloud creation through the Big Shot Square Lattice folder and watch the "sky" come to life.

We used Nautical Expedition DS paper for each of the 3 projects we made.  This card uses the Sweet Treat Centers stamp set and the sentiment comes from On the Grow stamp set. We also used the NEW Pennant punch to create the triangles on the side of the card.  Have a great Thursday, and thanks for stopping by!  Annette

June Make and Take No. 2

Here's the 2nd card for the "Manly" Make and Take.  I love the feel of this card. Very old/vintage - giving it a classic feel.  The ship is very, very easy to paint with your aqua painter since it is such a detailed stamp.

Recipe:
Stamps: The Open Sea, Teeny Tiny Wishes;
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy, Crumb Cake, Bashful Blue and Basic Black;
Paper: Crumb Cake, Nautical Expedition DS, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Night of Navy 1/8" Taffeta ribbon (retiring!), Regal Button, Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine, sponge daubers, Aqua painter and reinkers.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a blessed day!  Annette

Last Razzleberry Lemonade card

Feww!  It's been busy over here with the kids being home from school and all of us starting a new routine.  Lots of running around almost every night and of course the never ending play date requests.  You experiencing this too???  :)

Here is another card I made with the Razzleberry Lemonade DS paper with the Slice of Life Hostess Level 1 set and Bring on the Cake stamp sets from the Occasions Mini. Notice how the layout is the same as the previous posts.  This time I just flipped it around.

Have a great day!  Annette

Another Case

So after I had made a handful of Fancy Flower cards, I grabbed my Level 1 Hostess Set from the Occasions Mini and made this one. My aqua painter was acting up...making my painting bleed too much.  Eventually it went back to  normal, however, this one bled, and I had to stick a heart on the vase to cover it up.  Nice addition for a mistake, don't you think? :)  Happy Stamping!  Annette

Another Triple Layer Punch card

Here's another card I made while at the cabin over Memorial weekend.  It is a case of my own, so technically this is a repeat card I am sharing today. I made about 10 of these changing the flower a little each time.  My goal was to use up all of my Razzleberry Lemonade DS (retired) paper.  I came pretty close! :) I used my Fancy Flower punch with the Triple Layer Blossom punch.  Have a great day!  Annette
