Thank you cards

I hope everyone had a great Memorial weekend with family and friends.  We had a good time at our cabin in Canada.  Our daughter stayed back with a friend and her family...so I did miss her company though.  I stamped a little, fished a little and read a little.  Very relaxing!  Hope yours was too. : )

Here's the first card I am sharing with you today.  It is very simple layout.  But one must have these kinds of cards on hand at all times, right?  I brought my Triple Layer Blossom punch with me (very difficult to decide what to bring in a somewhat small tubaware container) and I also brought a leftover pack of Razzleberry Lemonade DS (retired) paper to use from last year's catalog.  I love this paper. Most of the cards I will be sharing with you this week are with this retired DS paper.  I tend to pull out my old paper during the summer while I am waiting for new DS paper from SU! :)  Have a great Tuesday!  Annette

Birthday Wishes

With all the cards I make, one would think I would have one on hand and ready to be mailed (well actually I do) But: "NO"  I have to make a new card specifically for a good friend and because I have to use new stuff - right??!!: )  So, given that, here's the card I made for my friend, Jenny.  Happy Belated Birthday, Jenny!

Hope everyone has a great Memorial weekend!  Hugs, Annette

Thank You

I was hunting through my old Stampin' UP! stamp sets and came across a set from 2003 called: Heart Blossoms.  It is a cute flower set that has a nice thank you sentiment for the inside.  I will most likely make a few sets of the cards I came up with to have in my card box.  Here's the first to share. Hope you have a productive Monday!  Annette

Another Newlywed card

Here's  another example of the yummy Sweet and Sour DS paper from SU. I just LOVE this paper! Same flower/layout as a few posts below. Colors:  Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Rose Red and a leftover piece of DS paper from Sweet Stitches.  Add a couple Rhinestones and I have another elegant wedding card.
Enjoy!  Annette

Club Card No. 3: For the Newlyweds

I would say this card was everyone's favorite (including mine).  We used water color paper, therefore I did NOT allow blender pens this time (really I wasn't being mean...just forcing them to get those aqua painters out and try them out again!).  They really did a great job watercoloring, too! Glad I forced them to find their aqua painters!!!  : )

Fifth Avenue flower, Fresh Cuts and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets. Sweet and Sour DS, Paisley Prints DS, Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake and Velllum card stock. Water color paper, aqua painters, sponge daubers, Beautiful Wings embosslit, Peach Parfait ribbon, Scallop Trim punch, Bashful Blue brads, Pearls, Peach Parfait, Tangerine Tango, Bashful Blue and Always Artichoke reinkers, Basic Black ink. Dimensionals and stickles glitter.

Fabulous Florets Club Card

Okay, I know it has been ages since I have shared a card. Life has been extremely busy for me with minimal stamping time available. However, I do have some pretty cool cards to share with you that we made at Club night.  Here is an easel card we made using the Top Note Die.  A lot of cutting but a beautiful result, don't you think?  The intention was to give this to our moms for Mothers Day.  That way they can have a displayed hand made flower garden. : )  Recipe below picutre.  Enjoy!  Annette
