Happy Birthday, Zachary!

Today is my baby's birthday...okay so turning "9" isn't a baby anymore...but he's still my baby!  He LOVES star wars but recently has started watching "Dragon Ball Z".  I watched it with him...I had a hard time watching it as I don't really understand how this could be entertaining...their mouths don't move, they look strange, and I could go on  and on.  I much prefer Star Wars the Clone wars...but hey, that's me.  Given the new interest, I made him a dragon ball z card this year... and here it is.

And here he is with a new webkinz he got from a friend at his birthday party on Saturday.  Happy Birthday, Zachary!!!  Love, Mom and Dad.

Another Cupcake card

Another cupcake card using the same colors/inks as the post on Tuesday except that this card has the candles and chunky glitter frosting. It looks very yummy in person. : )  We added a small heart from the owl punch and a button from the SAB Ribbon & Button pack to complete the card.  Another easy card to reproduce thanks to matching punches and the wonderful big shot.  Enjoy!  Annette

3 Little Valentines

Here are the little valentine cards I made for my kids.  I used retired SU sets and threw in some Red Glimmer paper hearts to make them sparkle.  Very fun....very simple!
This is my last post for the week. I have a few workshops to get ready for.  I will post samples of what we make next week.  Till then, happy stamping!  Annette

Happy Birthday, Josh!

Happy Birthday to our oldest son, Josh who is "sweet 16" today!!!!  Since he is a hockey player, and his birthday is in the middle of the season, he (we) never get to celebrate it fully....sorry about that honey!  I did make his favorite snack foods per his request on Super Bowl Sunday as he and his team mates are heading to Alexandria today for an away game and we really won't see him until very late tonight (besides observing him from the bleachers). But, hey, didn't his hand stamped card turn out cute?? Happy Birthday, son!  We love you !!!!

SAB: birthday wishes

I made the exact same card for a girlfriend's birthday and liked it so much that I made another.  The original colors were: Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette and Chocolate Chip.  This reproduction is made using: Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo and Chocolate Chip.

This card uses two SAB sets:  So Happy for You and Punch Bunch.  It will make a great make and take at my next party because attendees will get to use a lot of different goodies like: Daises bigz die, scallop border punch, Itty Bitty Shapes punch, corner rounder punch, scallop square punch, the heart from the owl punch, sweet buttons embossilts, glitter, and pearls.  Few!!!  Did I get it all?  It's the weekend, so go ahead and case a few of these babies for your stash at home! : )

Just for You

Here's another project stamp club girls made using the awesome Build a Blossom stamp set with matching Blossom Petals punch (page 12 of the ocassions mini).  This is a gift card holder and the card flap in the front (soft suede part) is secured closed by the "just for you" oval framed tag.  We used a piece of sticky strip on the bottom half of the tag (only) and the soft suede scalloped border flap fits right under it to keep it closed.  When you open the card, it lays flat with the gift card standing up.  Very cool.  I should have taken a picture of the inside, but I didn't.  Let me know if you would like to see the inside, and I will post a picture.  : )

Colors are: Soft Suede, Daffodil Delight and Baja Breeze.  We used Marina Mist ink for the Baja Breeze petals.   I really like how this card turned out. I will have to make more for future use!  Have a great day!
