Wings of Friendship

Here's a 3 x 3 card I whipped up this morning to send off with the new catalog requests I received from long distant customers. I really do appreciate each and everyone of you continuing your business with me! :)

My Open House/Make and Take for the new catalog will be in early August-sorry, I am booked with family activities every weekend in July! Stay tuned for more details.

Recipe: Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry card stock; Wings of Friendship (level 2 hostess set); Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry ink; Rich Razzleberry polka dot grosgrain ribbon, large oval and scallop oval punches; white gel pen.

We are off to our cabin in Canada...and I will hopefully be busy making new samples for all you to see at my Open House! Have a great Independence Day week/weekend!

Happy Birthday, Rebecca!!

Tomorrow is my daughter, Rebecca's birthday. As you can see from the card she turns twelve. So far, she has had a rough summer with her fracturing her pinkie. She can't play flute in the Marching Band, she can't play softball....and to play soccer she has a gigantic splint which covers her hand up to almost her elbow. Today she is at Valley Fair with the Marching band group...thank goodness she can still do that! Although no water rides or swimming....

Didn't this turn out cute? I do love the Razzleberry Lemonade DS paper. I like it much better than the Raspberry Tart DS paper. I am working on another card with this paper....and it is turning out very cute.

Quick recipe: Goody-goody gum drops, frames with a flourish and whimsy jumbo wheel; Go Go Boots alphabet die, Soft Suede, Dusty Durango, Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry card stock; Rich Razzleberry polka dot grosgrain ribbon, scallop edge, scallop oval, large oval, so saffron brads, non SU rub-ons.

Best Fishes!

I love this set (Fishy Friends) and will never give it up. I cleaned out my all my swap cards- got rid of most of them over the weekend and organized all of the cards I have made over the years. Half of my cards need to be completed on the inside. My project: to finish them up. It's hard to part with some cards isn't it? Well, I have 5 full boxes of cards instead of nine....and I am now willing to part with most of them.

Here's a card we made at a workshop back in oh...I would say 2004. I just added the hat and changed the tag. Off to the mail it goes today. Wait till you see the card I made for Becca's birthday. It turned out so cute! I'll post it tomorrow. So make sure you stop by tomorrow. I used 4 new In Colors and Razzleberry DS paper.

See you then! Annette

Happy Father's Day!

Here's the card I made for Father's Day this year. I used my Naturally Serif alphabet..how fun and quick and easy it was to whip up the letters on my Big Shot...instead of stamping it and lining them up correctly.

Thoughts & Paryers Card Class

On Tuesday night we made 6 sympathy cards using the beautiful Thoughts & Prayers stamp set. Each card had the same layout...we just used different Designer series papers and inks. Once we made the first card, the rest were straight forward. Although it is difficult to see, each card was finished off with some glittery stickles. Enjoy and have a great weekend! Circus Circles

I finally got my pre-order for the new catty sneak peak - and I finally got to try out new stamping stuff!
I used Soft Suede and Bermuda Bay to make this card. Bermuda Bay is a little more green then Taken with Teal. Soft Suede is spectacular.
Other new items I used: Modern Label Punch, Swirls Scribbles and Buttons #5 sizzlit dies. Leaves are from Birds & Blooms die. The next photo is a closeup view. Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Happy Anniversary!

Today my DH and I are celebrating our 19th Wedding Anniversary.

Here's the card I made for him using "Branch Out" and "To the Nines Speciality" DS paper.
I also used Kraft card stock for the bottom strip. Thanks for stopping by. I can't wait to get my hands on the new IN COLORS! :)

I am sure you have been online either at split coast or other stamping blogs to see that the NEW IN COLORS are very nice. If you haven't seen them online yet, click here to see pictures that Patty has put together for us to drool over.

My order of the NEW IN COLORS will not be arriving until Thursday. :{ But that will work out okay- even though I am dying to get a hold of the new catty and colors. This way it will give me time to get used to my 3 children being home and me chauffeuring them around all day to their sporting activities.

Hopefully, I will find some down time in their busy schedules to stamp. I am sure I will need the therapy, right? I do have some scrap booking projects that I need to work on this summer as well. So much to do, so little time to stamp!
