Sneak Peak....

I normally do not show what we are going to be making...but I thought you wouldn't mind seeing what my hostess club is making next Thursday. The other two projects I will share afterwards, as I do want to keep them a secret. I must say that I am really enjoying the Ski Slope DS paper from the mini holiday catalog.

Supplies: Snow Swirled and Punches Three stamp sets. White and Chocolate Chip craft pad. Old Olive, Real Red and Chocolate chip card stock. White and clear embossing powder. Punches: scallop edge, scallop square, wide oval, 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" circle punches, Circle fire rhinestone brad, red 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, silver cord. Note: the circle punches were used to punch out the snow flakes before cutting around the details of the snowflake. This makes cutting it soooo much easier! Try it, you'll see what I mean.

On another note....tonight is my daughter, Rebecca's play at the High School. She is Cinderella in a 6Th grade play called "Twinderella". We are very excited for her!!! She has worked very hard everyday after school for this big night...and tomorrow. They have already presented it to the 4Th, 5Th and 6Th graders yesterday. Way to go Becca!!!! Have a great weekend everyone!

Upsy Daisy Sympathy

Unfortunately I needed to make a sympathy card. Here's what I came up with. Notice the corner? I punched a photo corner and a scallop square. I then lined up the photo corner on top of the scallop square and cut it in half and then the little corner in the middle. Cool, huh?

Supplies: Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze and Soft Sky card stock. Not Quite Navy DS paper (hostess level 1) and Urban Garden DS paper. Upsy Daisy stamp set, Not quite Navy classic ink, Not Quite Navy SU marker, heat and stick, dazzling diamonds glitter, scallop edge, scallop square, photo corner and of course paper piercing tool and mat.

I have lots to do today, hope you all have a wonderful day! Annette

Season of Friendship

Here's another card I made with the way cool Season of Friendship stamp set. New stuff on it: I punched out a curly label on Riding Hood Red and then cut it into 4 pieces for the corners. Kinda a cool affect, don't you think? Ribbon is new. It is chocolate felt from the Ribbon Originals from the Holiday Mini. I also used the Autumn Vine and Riding Hood Red DS paper. Have a great day! Happy Birthday, mom.

Today would have been my mom's 61st birthday. She has been gone for 5 years, and I miss her dearly. I made this card back in August thinking of her at that time. It is hostess level 2 set: Fall Flair. I used our new designer buttons and in colors. I love you, mom. Annette

Here's the treat box I made and brought to show my Hostess Club last week. The Ghost is the easiest to make....try it! Very fun!!!! Box is a 5 x 5 piece of basic black card stock scored on all four sides at 1 1/2". cut on the score line of every other score line and assemble. Another spooky night with the cute bat.

Yesterday I was cleaning up my stamping area and starting to pack for my stamp club for tonight. I had a piece of Kiwi Kiss card stock with the very cool new frightful fence stamped across it laying on my table. It was a leftover piece from the project we are making tonight. I thought...wouldn't it be cute to punch a circle in it and have the bat on the inside of the card? Well, that's all it took for me to create this card. I love the size of this card because it fits into a "letter" envelope which is the size that holds a check or cash perfectly. I will make another one of these and put clouds in the inside as well. I just didn't have time yesterday. My hubby and I went to the Wild game last night. It's preseason....so we got to sneak and sit down near the glass and see the action up close. A very fun night. A girl will take what she can get...to get out of the house- I guess you could say we had a date even though we talked hockey the whole time! HA! Have a great day! Annette
