Open House Make and Take Projects

Here are the three projects we made at my Open House on Saturday, August 23, 2008. The first card uses the very lovely Dreams Du Jour stamp set with the awesome new In Color: Baja Breeze card stock and its matching Patterns DS paper.
The second card uses the Level 3 Hostess set:Happiness Always. We two stepped stamped the flower in two more new In Colors: Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red. The DS paper is Bella Rose. This was my favorite project of the three we made.
This last card uses a Level 2 Hostess set: Fall Flair and we embossed the outline leaf with Chocolate chip craft pad and iridescent ice emb. powder. Again we used two more In Colors: Kiwi Kiss and Tangerine Tango. Bella Rose DS paper was also used with Kraft taffeta ribbon. Love that taffeta! Enjoy! Annette

Busy as a Bee over here!

Yes, it's true. I have had NO time to stamp and I'm having my Open House on Saturday! Are you saying "what?"

Well, we ran up to Canada this past weekend...and for the very first time in my life...I didn't bring one stamp! It was so beautiful out...not a cloud in the sky. We swam, tubed, fished, played cards, ate snacks and just sat looking at the beautiful lake either on the deck or the dock.

The boys never sat down...they fished the minute they got up to the minute they went to bed. Zachary is such a hoot when it comes to fishing. He wanted me to take a picture of every single fish he caught! John took Monday off so we could actually enjoy the weekend, and we got home late last night.

I will be busy getting ready for my Open House Make and Take on Saturday, August 23, 2008. There is still time to join us! Remember: I am offering FREE SHIPPING on all orders (at my Open House or through email by 8/22/08) of $35 or more. And don't forget about the "Never Before Seen" Stampin' UP! Special...for double the savings!!!!! Submit your order today! Hope to see you all on Saturday!!!! Happy stampin' Annette

New Card Element Kit

I've been busy organizing the million of photo's that I have taken over the past several months...and trying to organize which photo's I want to scrapbook...and waiting patiently for the "stamp man" as my family says...to drop off my catalogs....If they don't arrive soon I just don't know what will happen!

This is a card I made from the new Flower Power Simply Sent Card Kit that demos were allowed to pre-order. It was on back order FOREVER!!!! I swear it took almost a month for me to get it!

This card kit makes 9 cards (3 each of 3 designs). You supply the stamps and ink, and all the other embellishments are provided (including buttons, brads and ribbons). It's very nice for beginner stampers or for a gift for non-stampers, or for yourself to embellish it as you want. I plan to cut the textured card stock in half (as I did for this one) and use my regular card stock for the card base. I am very sure I will get more than 9 cards out of this kit. The cost per card would be approx. $1.78- that's not bad , AY?

If you are in a hurry to make a gift set...this is way to go! I did have a lot of fun making this card in no time at all! Now - when are my catalogs arriving Mr. stamp man????? ..... Have a good day! Annette
