Always

Close to Cocoa, Groovy Guava and Rose Red make this card. This one is my favorite with the Always stamp set so far. White brads again...I will be running out soon and can't order them from SU- yet but hopefully in the upcoming catalog.... Hope you are enjoying the weekend. We are doing yard work again...and I keep sneaking in to look at this card! LOL! I made this card with my sister, Amy in mind. Hope she likes it as much as I do!

Bronco Wanted

I've been busy putting together gift sets for teachers...thank goodness I made some cards while it rained on Sunday in Canada.

Rebecca has a male teacher this year. Her first time ever. I decided to get him a cinema movie gift card and made this card to go along with it.

Not a difficult card to make...but definitely fun to make! Annette

Everything to me...Always!

Here's another card I made today with Always stamp set. Just playing around with a different layout and this is what I came up with.

Groovy Guava and Chocolate chip. By the way...see the little circles in the little flowers...well I did indeed find a punch at crafts direct that is 3/8ths! I really like it. It fits right in between our 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch...which is exactly what I was looking for. Go get one!!!!!! You'll be happy you did.

There really isn't anything fancy about the inside...just wanted to show you how well it works with the "everything" stamp on the outside. Great for B-days, thinking of you, etc..... I am enjoying this set!

Have a great Memorial Day weekend. Not sure if I will have time to stamp between now and then...I have things to do to get ready for Canada and helping out at school with the fun stuff...can't believe school is almost over! Annette

Celebrate You - Always

Here's a card I made today....as a matter of fact the only card I made this week. Yard work has been what I have been working on besides the usual. I had a wonderful time at my brother's wedding. It was very emotional for me, especially having my mom's picture up on the alter. She should have been there in person to see his big day. I know she would have been so happy for him.

This card uses Always and Frames with a Flourish stamp sets. Colors are: Bashful Blue, Ballet Blue and Certainly Celery. I still wish Stampin' UP! carried white brads!!!!!! Busy weekend for me with John gone for about a week fishing in Canada. Next week I get a new microwave, refrigerator and gas grill. Ya-who!!! I have been waiting a very, very long time for these items as most of you already know. Happy Stampin! Annette

She's stylin' for her birthday!

Here's another birthday card I made recently for a friend who's birthday is May 10, 2008. She is a sweet person, and has been very helpful to me with helping me get stamping goodies to friends in our group. I am happy to say that this card is actually done BEFORE her birthday! Hooray to me!!!!! Happy Birthday, Jenny! See the background where it says "chic"...cool, huh? Annette

Soft Sky Wedding Shadow Box Picture Frame

This was rather difficult to capture on film...or should I say digital. This is a 12 by 12 shadow box frame that I bought from Crafts Direct and made a wedding photo page for my brother and his wife to be- Melody. I used soft sky textured card stock (I will be missing this color big time), certainly celery and whisper white. I used Always and Baroque Motifs stamp sets with 2 retired alphabet sets. I also used write me a memory for the words on the right hand bottom of the picture. I think it turned out pretty good. Hopefully Melody will like it. Zachary says it looks too girly. Go figure!

matching wedding card

After I finished the shadow box, the card was easy to make. I just love the swirls in the Baroque Motifs set. I think it really made the card come together nicely. Have a great weekend.....I plan on dancing the night away with my family this weekend!!!! :) Annette
