Splitcoast Wed. Challenge 169

Yes, I did indeed try a splitcoast challenge today. My first, I might add! The challenge was to use this layout- no specific colors, etc...just the layout. If you haven't looked at their challenges...I challenge you to!
Supplies: Time Well Spent, Stitched, Family Phrases, Summer Picnic DS paper, Old Olive DS paper, Bashful Blue, Only Orange and Real Red card stock.
I used the Three For You punch to punch out the two little flowers...so I didn't have to cut them out. It worked well! It was definitely fun to actually take the time to do a split coast challenge. Have you done one yet? Annette
p.s. I did upload it successfully, thanks to splitcoast team member Roxie who responded to my email. :)

Stitched Exotics - what a fun set!

This set is very cool. Do you have it yet? Very unique flower shapes and swirly leaves. It makes really cool cards...without much thought. It is one of the sets in the "Free Wheelin" Stampin Up! special. I bought this set and the wheel separately (see it on the chocolate chip card stock of my mom's picture frame on the post below this.) so I didn't get to take advantage of the special.... :( But you can!!!! If you buy this set before April 30th, you'll get the matching wheel: "It's Beautiful" for FREE! There are 5 other sets to choose from...take a look at the special and have a blessed Easter celebration! Annette

Scrappin' a photo frame of my mom

Here's what I finished last night. This is one of my favorite photo's of my mother before she passed away. I had this photo attached to my bulletin board in front of my stamping area ever since it was developed back in 2002. FINALLY I decided to make the picture frame I had always said in my head each and everyday that I said "hi" to my mom. Supplies: Sahara Sand, Chocolate chip and Bashful Blue card stock. It's Beautiful jumbo wheel with versa mark, Bashful Blue Bloom die cuts, Pretty in Pink Textured card stock, Salebration rub-on's, Eastern Elegants rub-on's, Blossoms & Basics chipboard, white gel pen, bashful blue grosgrain ribbon, crop-o-dile, soft subtles buttons, Boho punch, slit punch, word window punch, 1/2 inch circle punch, and 1/4 inch circle punch. Retired stuff: Rebecca DS paper, Headline Alphabet, Rose Romance classic ink, Spring Bouquet punch, and Straight Up Letters and Numbers stamp set. I also used Chocolate chip craft ink refill to paint the sides of the frame and chip board flower. Thanks for looking and have a great day! :) Annette
