Stitched Exotics

I needed to make a sympathy card for my Aunt's mother who passed away recently and Stitched Exotics has been sitting on my stamp desk waiting patiently for me to open it up and stamp with it. I knew the colors I would use as I love bashful blue and Orchid Opulence together. So this card came together quickly- even though there is a lot of cutting out of the flowers. I also used the Stitched background stamp. I think it turned out pretty darn good! Have a nice weekend. My prayers and thanksgiving go out to Nancy. May she have a speedy recovery. Annette

Make A Wish Upon a Star!

Here's the first card I have made using "In the Stars" stamp set found in the Occasions mini catalog that will be available for purchase on March 1st thru May 31, 2008. I also used "A Little Birthday Cheer" stamp set from the Spring Summer catty. We have all been sick here...it has been horrible. Yesterday I couldn't stand just "lying around" anymore and stamped a little. Not one of my best cards....but boy did it make me feel good, and darn it, that's what counts! Have a great day! Annette

Groovy Guava Chocolate Cake!

Zachary is sick with influenza. I took him to the doctor this am to confirm this since he has had such a high fever during the night and it hurts for him to cough. Unfortunately I took 2 sips of his hot chocolate on Sunday at Joshua's hockey game. We'll see what happens on my end. So, I am taking a break from stamping and posting for this week. Happy 13th Birthday, Joshua!

Here's the card I made yesterday for Joshua's big 13th birthday. He likes blue and red...so picking out the colors was easy. I had fun playing with the star punches and using the "All Sports" stamp set with our "Birthday Whimsy" saleabration stamp set. This a standard size...so we could put cold hard cash in it!
