May God's blessing shine upon you today & in '08!

I made 9 of these adorable boxes for Christmas gifts this year. They were filled with home made chocolate raspberry truffles...mmmm, mmmm good. A friend at a cookie exchange showed us how to make these cute boxes, and I just knew that I had to make them for my treats! I bet you will make something like this at one of our future make and takes! Have a Happy and Safe New Year's celebration! :) Annette

Snowfall Number 2

Here is one of the cards we made at a Hostess Club. We rolled the jumbo roller in old olive craft and sprinkled it with hologram highlights and embossed. The snowflake is embossed with white craft using white embossing powder on Old olive card stock. The wide olive ribbon is one of the new ribbons offered by Stampin UP! this year. This is one of my favorite cards...OK so I have a lot of favorites...can you blame me? Hope everyone had a Happy and Safe Christmas celebration. I am busy making new cards for the new catty. :) Annette

Let it Snow, let it snow!

This snow wheel goes extremely well with the Snowfall stamp set. I just wheeled it across my Not Quite Navy craft pad on Soft Sky card stock and embossed it with Hologram Highlights (retired). The snowflake is done the same. I added a strip of whisper white card stock and finished it with a piece of stitched soft sky ribbon and put a silver brad in the middle of the snowflake. Easy but very elegant in person. Have a great day! Annette

Snowfall

For this card I used our In Colors of Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi, and Blue Bayou ink and cardstock with Very Vanilla cardstock. In addition to using the Snowfall set, I also used the Linen background stamp (retired now). I think these 3 colors work well for Christmas. A very easy card to reproduce. Hence, you may see it again somewhere...tee hee, hee - hee. Have a great day! Annette

Tis the Season of Joy!

Here's one the Christmas cards we made at our November Hostess Club. We only used the Season of Joy stamp set. With 8 pieces in the set, you can create many different layouts. We used River Rock, Always Artichoke, and Holiday Harmony DS paper. We used Whisper white and Always artichoke craft pads to stamp the background, trees and snow beneath the trees. One tree was embossed with Hologram Highlights (retired-ug!) and is secured with stampin dimensionals. Snow flakes were cut out by hand and glued to purely pomegranate stitched ribbon. A very pretty card to see in person - if I do say so myself! :)

Here's a close up of the snow and 1/4 inch circle punch out ornaments. I made 35 cards with this layout for my Xmas card this year.

Fairy Tale Wedding Card

One of our good friends is getting married today. This set is retired, but I love it. The card ended up (at least in my mind) like a fairy tale book. I used very vanilla, so saffron and basic black cardstock. I used very vanilla craft pad and iridescent ice embossing powder (now that Hologram Highlights is retired...I have to hoard it- ug!) I also used Lavish Lace background (retired), large oval punch, and the spring bouquet punch (retired now).

Inside of Card

And here's the inside of the "fairy tale" wedding book card. Of course I made the envelope to match. One of the great attributes to designing your own cards! Have a great day! :)
